Please email first being sure to include the event date, preferrred time and package and the city or town your event will be in. We will get back to you as soon as possible with availability and package rates. A non- refundable 50% deposit is required to hold a date on Visa or Mastercard for birthday parties. Please phone your card information in. Reservations are not held until a deposit is received. What does a party or event cost? Packages are custom tailored for your event. Prices will vary depending upon the size of your party, travel time, tolls and mileage to your location, weekday or weekend date, the amount of time you reserve and the package that you choose. Weekday morning/afternoon prices start at $250.00 for small local parties, though prices will depend upon your package preference, date and location. Larger weekend party packages in our standard 50 mile service radius are usually in the $350 to $800 range. Events up to 100 miles have additional travel charges and normally a minimum half day rental fee. What happens in the case of Inclement Weather? Party deposits are non-refundable. In the event of adverse weather/Act of God on your event date, a petting zoo will be substitued in place of pony rides, if we are not able to provide pony rides due to weather (lightning, heavy downpour etc). Drizzle and light rain we still offer pony rides. Petting Zoos can be set up in any sheltered area such as a garage, tent, convered deck, park pavillion, walk out basement etc. If you choose to postpone or cancel your party or event due to weather or any other reason we will try to find another date for you. However party deposits are not transferrable and an additional non- refundable deposit is required for the revised date. We can not hold or guarantee a date or rain date without a non refundable 50% deposit. Refunds are only issued in the event that we have to cancel a party due to unsafe travel or road conditions/Act of God. It is strongly recommended that you wait until the morning of your event to decide if you wish to reschedule or cancel. We have been offering Perfect Pony Rides and Petting Zoos for over 15 years and have found that weather forecasts are consistently incorrect. Where do you park the animal trailer? Access to Location: Our zoos need to have easy access to the set up area. Access should allow the animal trailer to pull up close- within 100 feet- to unload the animals, set up materials, and all other equipment used for your zoo. If your zoo will be in the backyard, please keep a parking spot with easy access and egress open near your setup area. Please do not have your guests park the trailer in. Pony Rides may be walked to their set up area. Who is responsible for cleanup? Our staff brings a pooper scooper to clean up the petting zoo and pony ride areas during and after your event. Petting Zoos on paved areas are set up on tarps with bedding which are rolled up and removed at the end of the animal's visit. What does USDA inspected mean? USDA inspected means that our animals are certified as healthy, and all required vaccinations are up to date. The quarters for the animals are inspected for cleanliness and safety. USDA inspection occurs regularly, so that you may be assured of a healthy, well cared for, and tame petting zoo for your party. Party Etiquette For the safety of all involved, please: Locate noisy and active games in an area at least 100 feet from pony rides and/or petting zoo areas. Children must remain in a line and not running wildly around the ponies before their turn. Reserving a mini petting zoo to help keep the children occupied while waiting in line is a very popular option! Dogs must be kept in a secure area away from ponies and zoo where they can not get loose during the farm animal visit. Many parties send their dog to the groomer or vet the day of the party. Strange dogs will make animals nervous. Keep balls and sticks away from the pony ride area. Do not stand or run behind ponies as this can startle them. Do not pull their pony tails! Only one child on a pony at a time. Speak quietly and move slowly as sudden movements and loud sounds may startle the animals. Keep ride on toys far away from the pony and petting farm area. Keep motorized and battery operated toys away from the pony and petting farm area.
