Learn about what the animals eat, their care and habits and about the role the animals fulfill on a
working farm. Discover
the wonderful products these animals provide for farmers, and the
opportunity to touch and feel these products along with meeting and petting the gentle animals. Touch the soft down feathers used for pillows and comforters, feel the texture of lamb's wool compared to the softest goats cashmere, learn about goats milk products
and touch and feel goat horns that were used as tools and instruments in ancient times.
Nursing homes, schools and camps may reserve the Down on the Farm educational Critter Corral by itself or add the presentation to any large petting zoo package!
The Baby Barnyard Baby Animal Zoo!
is the perfect little indoor presentation to celebrate SPRING! Featuring our newest precious baby farm animals, we visit schools, camps and senior centers weekDAY mornings/early afternoons mid March through early we June. Can include an adorable baby goat, baby lamb, peeping chicks, unbelievably soft baby bunnies and other small animals. All we need is a folding table in your lobby or class room and one of our friendly staff teaches a little about each baby -then see the diapered baby goat drink their bottle! Many schools coordinate with a sister center for same day visits to make this an even more affordable option!

The Down on the Farm Animal Educational Program is designed for children and students ages 4 and up. For younger "Farmers" this program
is a perfect "animal meet and greet" Mini Petting Zoo.
